The EU Commission has published the latest harmonised standards for the Recreational Craft Directive (RCD)

• EN ISO 8665-2:2024 Small craft – Power measurements and declarations-Part 2: Electric marine propulsion
• EN ISO 15085:2024 Small craft – Protection from falling overboard and means of reboarding

A transitional period of 18 months applies from the date of citation in the Official Journal of the EU, during which both standards (new and previous) apply and provide presumption of conformity.
