Wind & Water Gdynia 2017

This summer, boating industry might have gained a few more future recreational craft enthusiasts, thanks to the 12th edition of the largest such event in this part of Europe – the Wind and Water boat show in Gdynia - which took place from 27-30 July.

Over ten thousand visitors who frequented the event could not have been disappointed with the show’s offer.

This included the premieres of the latest motor boats by the host’s native companies such as Galeon or Delphia. Even European Boating Industry Secretary General, Sandrine Devos, had the first-hand (and “first-foot”), on water experience (courtesy of our Polish member POLBOAT) on one of the latest industry releases which got the Gdynia Yacht Design Award.

More than 130 exhibitors presented yachts and boats from Polish and foreign shipyards, including Jeanneau or Invictus, the latter for the first time presented in Gdynia. The visitors could also find expositions of companies offering sailing and motorboat accessories, navigation, safety and rescue equipment, as well as tourist and sports clothing.
